Windows 10, la mise à jour cumulative KB5005101 est disponible, quoi de neuf ?
Image Microsoft vient de publier une nouvelle mise à jour cumulative Windows 10, KB5005101. Elle s’adresse aux PC sous 20H1, 20H2 et 21H1. Il s’agit d’une version « Preview » en amont du Patch Tuesday du mois de septembre 2021.

Cette mise à jour cumulative KB5005101 propose une longue liste de correctifs. Parmi les fait les plus marquant nous avons la résolution d’un souci de connexion Bluetooth. Un bug limite l’usage d’un casque Bluetooth aux appels vocaux. Nous retrouvons aussi des patchs autour de la saisie tactile et des problèmes d’écran noir avec certains appareils Windows 10. A ce sujet la firme explique
« Nous avons corrigé un problème susceptible d’empêcher votre appareil de fonctionner lors d’un geste de saisie tactile. Ce problème se produit si vous mettez plus de doigts en contact avec le pavé tactile ou l’écran au milieu du geste. Nous avons également résolu un bug susceptible d’entraîner l’affichage d’un écran noir sur un moniteur externe après une mise en veille prolongée. Ce problème peut se produire lorsque le moniteur externe se connecte à une station d’accueil à l’aide d’une certaine interface matérielle. »
Windows 10, la prochaine grande maintenance est prévue le 14 septembre.

La firme a aussi corrigé une défaillance à l’origine de la création de comptes locaux en double sur certains ordinateurs. La solution passe par la suppression des comptes en question de la base de données du Gestionnaire de comptes de sécurité locale.

Redmond précise
« Nous avons corrigé un problème qui pouvait créer des comptes locaux intégrés en double, tels qu’un compte administrateur ou invité, lors d’une mise à niveau. Ce problème se produit si vous avez précédemment renommé ces comptes. Par conséquent, le « Local Users » et « Groups MMC snap-in » (lusrmgr.msc) apparaissent vides sans compte après la mise à niveau. »
Il est important de souligner que KB5005101 est une version « Preview ». Son contenu sera proposé lors de la prochaine grande maintenance de Microsoft. Nommée Patch Tuesday elle aura lieu le 14 septembre prochain.
