Microsoft a finalement publié une nouvelle mise à jour cumulative pour Windows 10 v1903 alias May 2019 Update. Elle apporte plusieurs corrections de bugs.

L’installation de cette mise à jour cumulative KB4522355 permet au système d’exploitation d’évoluer en version 18362.449. Ce chiffre est un moyen simple de vérifier que tout s’est correctement déroulé. Vous pouvez le trouver en lançant « winver.exe » dans Exécuter (WIN+R).

KB4522355 propose de nombreux correctifs. Vous trouverez tous les détails en fin d’article. Il y a cependant quelques corrections importantes. Microsoft apporte des solutions à plusieurs défaillances du menu démarrer. Nous avons détaillé ce point dans une actualité dédiée.+
A cela s’ajoute la résolu de problèmes de plantage survenant lors de la connexion à Windows 10, ainsi que les erreurs Windows Hello for Business. A ce sujet il est expliqué
« Nous avons corrigé un problème lié à la stratégie de déverrouillage multifacteur de Windows Hello for Business, qui ne permet pas d’afficher l’option de connexion par défaut sur les périphériques Windows 10.»
Il existe aussi un correctif autour du protocole DHCP
«Nous avons corrigé un problème qui vous empêche de récupérer les informations correctes DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) en définissant les paramètres DHCP LeaseTerminatesTime et LeaseObatinedTime au format correct.»
Cette mise à jour cumulative s’accompagne d’une bonne nouvelle. Microsoft annonce qu’il n’y a aucun problème connu. Cette information peut surprendre face à tous les problèmes rencontrés depuis l’installation des correctifs précédents.

Pour le moment nous n’avons pas connaissance de souci particulier lors de l’installation de la mise à jour cumulative KB4522355. Il est important de savoir que cet update est proposé en option. Il faut intervenir manuellement dans Windows Update pour déclencher son téléchargement et son installation. Il est également disponible sur WSUS et Microsoft Update Catalog
