Microsoft vient de publier une nouvelle mise à jour cumulative pour Windows 10 May 2019 Update. Elle débarque dans un premier temps au travers du programme Windows Insider à des fins de test.
La mise à jour cumulative KB4497935 est proposée au travers du service Windows Update. Elle s’adresse aux PC inscrits sur les anneaux lent et Release Preview du programme Windoiws Insider. Cette démarche n’est pas nouvelle. Elle fait partie d’un plan d’action de Microsoft pour éviter tout nouveau fiasco.
Depuis le lancement de Windows 10 v1809 alias October 2018 Update, l’anneau « Release Preview » est utilisé pour des tests avant d’autoriser une publication à grande échelle.
En ce qui concerne les nouveautés proposées par KB4497935, tous les détails sont disponibles en fin d’article. Son installation permet au système d’exploitation d’évoluer en version 18362.145. Ce chiffre est important car il permet de vérifier que tout s’est correctement déroulé. Il est accessible en lançant « winver.exe » dans Exécuter (WIN+R).

Elle devrait débarquer sur les PC grand public d’ici quelques semaines.« Nous avons apporté une solution à un problème pouvant empêcher certaines applications et certains jeux Direct3D de passer en mode plein écran si l’orientation de l’affichage était modifiée par défaut. »
